Great Fridge...a bit noisy.

Great fridge. Love it overall and thing the Keurig feature is awesome. With this great product you would think that a quieter fan could be engineered or sourced. At times the noise is at a level exceeding 58 dB. Dishwashers run infrequently and have noise levels at 39-44dB on the new models. Makes no sense that a refrigerator that runs all the time would be noisier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got this fridge as a gift from our new home builder included with the house. The LED lights brighten up this roomy fridge. I was never a Kurig user until now. The simple and quick coffee brewer is perfect for the mornings when you are trying to get out the door in a hurry.

Best fridge we've ever had

We are just tickled with our GE Cafe refrigerator. The hot water feature and LED lighting are wonderful improvements over our old fridge. The fridge feels much bigger and we really like the layout and design features. It looks great, too.

Great fridge but...

I will preface by saying that I sell appliances for a big box retailer. Love the black slate color, and the interior is spacious with additional space provided by the in-door ice storage, as well as the collapsible shelving. The LED dispenser with hot water / Keurig, and the black slate color (both only available in the Café) are a nice upgrades from the Profile series. The only disappointment comes from the Keurig not functioning correctly with reusable kcups. I’ve tried several types, and even adjusted the grind to accommodate, but it still leaks considerably around the top. Works beautifully with disposables, but too much waste and too expensive. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer the same functionality as our ctop Keurig.

Love the Keurig

It's been almost 3 months with our new fridge and we like it ok.. As with anything new, it took a little while to adjust to the new configuration - we had a large single door fridge previously. We love the Keurig and the hot water dispenser. It eliminates the clutter of the electric tea kettle and coffee maker on the counter. The ice maker sucks...you don't get full cubes and you can barely fill a glass. The photos show all the cubes I could get. I guess we'll have to use old fashioned cube trays...that's a major bummer. The other negative is the door is so bulky the fridge has to hang out far past the counter and its very awkward getting stuff in and out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A bit disappointed

Overall I like the refrigerator very much. The water takes much longer to heat than I thought it would. The lights inside should be brighter. The doors are very heavy and the Keruig drips before and after making coffee. Always have to wipe it up.

Key rig doesn’t work

This is a brand new appliance and Keurig does not work. We have had two different GE authorized repair men come out and attempt to fix it. It takes a long time for the water to heat up and then it begins to leak all over the door when you try to make coffee. Don’t even get me started on the GE Range. GE appliances have been the worst purchase of my lifetime!!!!

Smart and Sleek

I have only had this less than a week and I'm not to tech savvy but it has been a challenge for me to get all the parts to function. I finally had to call the experts to help me with the photos on the wifi and will work on that next. This product seems to be incredible with making the coffee and soups and hot chocolate. The instructions could be in more detail for me with pictures included. The pod needs to be taken out to get the other features to work like hotter water, the soups, etc. The safer feature allows the fridge to be locked so the water, coffee, ice, does not work. It would be a plus if there was an extra ice machine in the bottom freezer. My fridge is not the counter depth so it sticks out about 8-9 inches past the counter top. Over all I love the product and if it came in the smear proof doors it would be a 5+.
