Love the large freezer!

We are very happy with our GE Cafe refrigerator especially the size of the freezer. The keurig attachment and hot water options are very cool. Love that the ice can be poured out of the bin.

Love and hate

We love the space and look of our new fridge. However they need to make changes to the water and ice part on the outside. When getting ice it makes a mess constantly. It's as if it needs to have an ice guard so when it comes out it doesn't spit out ice shavings everywhere. I always have to have a towel on the shelf to clean up the mess. Sucks to have something so nice with a towel on it. With a family 6 someone is always using the ice.

I use the coffee every morning at 7am. I absolutely LOVE this fridge. Only thing I would add is another ice bin in the lower drawers.

Can’t place large bottles on shelf

I am disappointed with this model. I have always purchased GE products. The shelves can not be adjusted to handle gallon ice tea containers. Not even a bottle of juice. On the left side door where there are shelves are so narrow you can’t put any round jars or bottles in it.
As far as the Keurig in the door I have used it only once to make coffee. When I only wanted to heat hot water the directions kept telling me to add K cup.
The freezer is roomy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buyer Beware faulty touchscreen.

The touchscreen to stop working after only having this very expensive refrigerator for 3 years. It was not abused and hardly used. I was so excited to have a fridge that made coffee. NOT only did the touch screen go out. It constantly dings to no end nonstop day and night! The part to fix it is expensive not to mention whatever the servicemen charge. The cheap metallic decorative tape began to peel off within weeks of turning the refrigerator on. After much research, I found it is common for this brand and model to have issues with the touchscreen. I do not recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
