Beautiful!

I purchased this refrigerator almost a week a go. It is absolutely the most beautiful refrigerator I have ever seen. Plenty of room, love the meat/beverage drawer. So many upgrades from my old GE refrigerator. Only one negative, sorry! I would have loved the option of a second ice-maker. The lighting is also AMAZING. I have always purchased GE products due to the fact our small town Clawson Appliances in Monticello, Indiana takes CARE of their customers.

Horrible refrigerator

I bought a GE Cafe french door fridge in 2010, so I've had many years of use and learned a lot. It cools very unevenly, things in the back get frozen, things in the front are not cold enough. No amount of fiddling with the thermostat solves this. The doors do not shut on their own AT ALL which over time has become very frustrating. the interior is poorly laid out and we have trouble finding room for tall items without removing shelves. I would never buy this fridge again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker holds minimal ice and is slow to replenish but more space in the refrigerator os worth the sacrifice.

Great quality refrigerator. Love size and the design of it. The features are amazing. The only flaw I’ve found is the ice maker is slow, for people that love ice.

The space inside the refrigerator is fantastic. It’s easy to reach things and great for oversized platters. The keurig attachment is also a great addition. It’s nice that it also detaches for easy cleaning. I do wish that the notification of how much water you put in your cup would stay for a few secs after you stop filling your container and would also like a precise fill that lets you walk away or not have to hold the container. One other issue has been the way the fridge bins open. It’s a bit awkward as the handle is at the bottom of the drawers. But all in all we are very happy with the fridge and it’s functionality.

Nice, but ...

We bought this new at the time of our new home to coordinate with our other GE Cafe series appliances (wall oven, microwave, gas range cooktop, dishwasher). Overall it's been good - a lot of room, nice features (the hot water dispenser is very nice). The one issue seems to be that the dispenser plate is already showing signs of rust and corrosion after only a few months. We are watching this closely to see if it gets worse, but it's likely to be a warranty issue soon. Otherwise, have been pleased with the refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator one month ago and they had to send out a new one due to the handles keep dropping of. I’m still having the same issue on the 2nd fridge.
