I installed this a week ago on a XsMax in a otter box defender. If I were to do it again I would not remove the phone from the case. I used the supplied templet and it allowed the glass to be little low and when I redressed the phone in the defender it began separating from the screen leaving a huge bubble. I was able to gently lift and reposition the Glass carefully though and achieved an excellent bubble free result. I am very pleased with. SO with a defender as a case I would not use the template would not undress the phone the next time.

I bought the Alpha Glass and the Pursuit case for my phone. I love it. The only downside is you have to put it on exactly right with barely any wiggle room. My Alpha glass has cracked on the first day in the corner where the phone case meets the screen. I tried smoothing an air bubble out then I noticed a crack. Other than that it is wonderful!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I dropped it multiple times . The phone still didn’t have any damage. I would prefer anyone that is trying to get a case that’s protective and show off your awesome xs max to get this brilliant case

I’ve had the Alpha Glass for about 1-month and so far it’s good. I’m also using an Otterbox Defender case.
I’ve used the Defender case on every iPhone I’ve owned since 2010 and have never broken a screen or damaged the case. I work in an industrial plant and the phone is always susceptible to damage. More so than an office environment.
The new iPhone XS needed a glass protector because the otterbox for that specific phone does not have a cover.
I’m impressed with the ease of installation and so far also the clarity. Time will tell for sure but so far - so good.
