i purchased a xr phone and the black clear enables rear of the phone to be observed i love the fact that the red color of the phone can be observed
Since red is the top choice i wish a option existed to replace the black trim color with either a clear or red border to match the color of the phone
i would purchase a different color trim or clear if made available
the phone without a cover is just too slippery and a accident waiting to happen
this is my second outerbox one was acquiref for my iphone six and i was so happy i purchased one for the xr

I have always used Otterbox Commuter cases and when I got my iPhone XS Max, I decided to try a Pursuit case. It is the best OtterBox case I have ever owned. My wife always uses a Defender and while it may be a little more protective it is more bulky. The Pursuit is just the right combination of style and protection. I would highly recommend this case. The only other comment I will make is that the Merlin color is more purple than burgundy. If IO had know this I might have chosen a different color.

I had the Defender for several years but wanted something that felt less bulky - especially with a larger phone like the XR - while still adequately protecting my phone. Since the Pursuit is not as thick/bulky as the Defender case, I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t offer enough protection for the klutz that I am dropping my phone all the time, but I found a pretty good YouTube review and ultimately decided to go with it, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! It feels really nice in my hand, and I appreciate that the case re-routes the sound from the bottom speakers to face forward and that they did away with the cut-out circle on the back for the apple logo. Also, can confidently say that this case protects my phone no problem from ground level falls :)

This is a very sturdy case. It is less bulky and more attractive than a previous OtterBox I had, while maintaining the protection. Expensive, but hopefully it will protect my phone for its life.

Got my new XR and wanted the protection of my previous Lifeproof case but avoid the issues of the speakers being muffled. This case is the perfect balance. The pursuit case seems harder to find in stores but a good case for protection, size, and ability to hear the speakers!! It’s larger than most cases but smaller than the 6plus with Lifeproof. I feel comfortable giving my phone to my 4 year old.

I needed a durable case for my job, and this has been pretty much perfect. It feels good in your hand due to its slim size. It's much better sized personally than the Defender is, although I wish OtterBox would sell a belt clip for this one too.
Case is lightweight and not a whole lot bigger than my phone. It took me some time to figure out the best way to open the case but as soon as you figure it out it's pretty easy to do.
Only complaint I have is that you have to have a pretty powerful wireless charger to work with this case. I know there are more layers of protection and whatnot, but I have thinner cases that work with my wireless charger in my office and in my truck.
