Tough case, good protection but doesn’t look good

I love how sturdy this case is and I feel that my phone is safe in it but the back is already ruined. I’ve had it for only two weeks and haven’t dropped it or scratched it but because the clear back is so delicate just putting it down on a table or carrying it in my pocket leaves a mark on it. It looks like the case is a year old after only two weeks. For the price, it shouldn’t already be that damaged looking just from everyday use.

Very nice looking case and very functionable. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and already have several micro scratches on the clear side. I thought it would have been abit more durable for the money.

Our cases are not necessarily designed to be indestructible so much as they're intended to absorb the brunt of any impacts that might otherwise jeopardize the phone itself. This is a great phone case. Best phone case I've ever had, hands down. If the Defender is a tank the Pursuit is a light tank. And with the Alpha Glass I have no fears taking this thing out into the field, or farm really [though I do wish the Alpha Glass covered further to the edges where the case is].
Absolute worst color choices I've ever seen, however. Considering OtterBox bought a competitor with amazing color designs, you'd think they could afford more pigment options on the main lines. And since the new iPhones have amazing new colors themselves, it's a shame the clear cases were out of stock with no hint to when they're coming back out. So I got the saddest, drabbest purple on Earth because it was in stock & not as easily confused with the ubiquitous black case. In the customizable case option, all the "good" color choices were out of stock as well. I flood-filled the OtterBox logo with a bright nail polish just to give the sad thing some life. Stinks that an amazing phone in bright coral in a great quality, expensive case looks so so sad.
Overall, great case, great protection for an expensive item! But holy cow, grow a colorful spine.

Always used a Defender for the protection but thought it would be too bulky for the larger iPhone XS Max. The Pursuit is just the right size and feel. The phone actually feels better with the case than without. Seems to protect as well as the Defender. I dropped the phone first day with the case and it came out fine.

I had the previous version of the pursuit on my iPhone X. I can clearly see that otter box was listening to its customers. While it was a great case protection wise, it had its flaws. Very hard to operate the silent switch, sealing foam around the edges would protrude, ease of assembly and disassembly...none of those issues with this case. Otter really stepped it up with the redesign. I’m extremely happy with this case.

I bought the new iPhone which is a huge chunk of change. I have broken the screen on every previous phone dropping them. I decided to go with the best protection I could find, as opposed to"cute". I have dropped the phone twice already, no issues.I hope this protection continues! The size of the case is also very nice, not overly chunky.
