I haven’t always purchased otter box, but ever since I had my iPhone 6plus and purchased the strata leather case and alpha glass from them I haven’t changed since. The pursuit case with the transparent back is awesome! It allows me to kee my phone very protected and also show off the color of the iPhone I purchased! I am so glad I purchased this case! I would suggest if your looking for a case to show off your new XS MAX and keep it protected go with the pursuit!
(Side note I need an alpha glass for my XS MAX my old iPhone 6plus(last phone) has to be traded in and I can’t use my leather case(I would love a link to review this product) or my alpha glass.

I have had many cases. The Pursuit seems well made. The back did scratch after being in my front pocket. The controls are easy to use. The biggest plus is that my conversations are clear and both parties hear. The only think I would like to see is a cover over the mute switch.

I’ve had Otterbox cases for years and usually buy the Commuter. I decided to try the Pursuit and I’m glad I did. It’s the best made, most solid case I’ve ever owned. If you have an iPhone XS Max, this is definitely the way to go!

I have only had this for a few days but I really like the case. It has a grip feel so it will not feel
slippery or sliding out of your hand. Putting the phone in it was not difficult at all. And it feels light so it will not add weight to your phone.

I've been using this case now for a few weeks and have had no issues. I was looking for a case with low-profile port covers and dust protection. This case is perfect for my needs. I'm coming form the iPhone 6 in a LifeProof Nüüd case (no built in screen protector) and find them quite similar except nothing protecting the camera, not waterproof and no stupid clip flap (that always broke on my LifeProof Case). Although the extra material at the bottom adds a bit a bulk, when I watch videos I never cover the speaker (because it redirects the sound forward). Compared to my old LifeProof case, the microphone was perfectly clear as well. I am also using the Alpha Glass screen protector, which is also perfect (except they should come with two in the box when you inevitably mess up the first time). We will see if the rubber loosens around the edges over time but so far no concerns!
