Purchased this item because I wanted to hook to my wrist or neck lanyard for when I have my hands full - which is most of the time. It does the job. However, the plastic piece already broke off the lanyard...still works just wish they made a lanyard that was as rugged as the Otterbox case. Please note I have only had it a week, and I do not remember dropping the phone or catching the plastic piece on anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this case a week ago and so far so good, however, thankfully I have not dropped my phone so have not had the opportunity to test it properly. If I could change one thing it would be to have a choice of colour as it only comes in black.
