The monitor is slim. Has blue light protection, so you dont get eye soreness for looking at long periods. Fast response time.

Its good for its price

A 75Hz refresh rate is pretty cheap for a $100 monitor thats this big (price I got for the black Friday sale). HDMI ends up with washed-out colours though which is disappointing compared with the much better VGA quality that I get on the other monitor.
Would still recommend a buy when it goes on sale, not exactly worth the $150 it is at right now though.

Decent at Best

I bought this monitor in September 2018 when it was around $200. Right off the bat, I realized how poor the sound was. I expected something that would actually be loud at 100% volume, but no, it isn't. On the other hand, the quality of video is great and it handles everything else well. The sound brings it down.

Good price, DP doesn't work, caveat emptor

I bought this monitor based on its small size and having both HDMI and DP inputs, after a 6 y/o Asus 23" monitor kept turning off intermittently (not the PS). When I brought the new monitor home, I discovered that it came with an HDMI cable, not a DP cable that I expected. When I tried to connect the DP output from my Radeon 570 card to it, nothing worked. Even the same DP cable from my work laptop that happily feeds my BENQ monitor will not recognize this sad little ASUS monitor. Even a DP-HMDI converter adapter wont work. Luckily, I have an HDMI switch, so I don't have the energy to take this sad little thing back.

The colors are really washed out, and the text is a bit blurry. It's subtle, but it felt like my eyes were bothering me. I really can't recommend this screen.

Good budget monitor

I bought 6 of these 21.5" monitors to replace 3 old Asus monitors (7-year-old) and added 3 new ones. Asus makes good quality products. Now all monitors match and the bezels all align properly which makes them look great. The monitor is a simple budget TN panel so it's really nothing special. Although this monitor is priced at $179.99 I picked it up on sale for $99 which made is very affordable and cost-friendly. Time will tell how these monitors will perform, but so far I'm enjoying them for movies, Microsoft documents, research, and other tasks. Also this monitor supports AMD FreeSync and works great with my AMD graphics card which also supports FreeSync.
If you can find this on sale, don't think twice, pick it up!
