Nice monitor. Good value.

This is an excellent budget gaming monitor. The screen is bright with good contrast. Online screen controls are among the easiest to use that I have seen with lots of configuration options. The speakers are neither the loudest nor do they have the best sound quality -- "adequate" might be the best word to describe them. The box included an HDMI cable and a male-male 1/8" stereo cable (which you would need if your video cable did not support audio). The the box did NOT include a Displayport cable. For the price, I consider ASUS VP228QG a good value.

Great budget product

The is a great monitor if you are not willing to spend a whole lot on a high end monitor, picture settings look good and haven’t noticed any lag at all. The stand is a bit wobbly but it’s not life or death.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this monitor for my wife. Main reason was the Asus brand, 3 year warranty and a great sale price. She uses it as a basic monitor for web browsing and office work. I got no complaints so I guess she likes it!

Everything is perfect , nice image the only negative about it is the sound besides that it's all good ..also delivery was very quick :-)

When connected to my PS4 or Nintento Switch it looks great.
When connected to my Mac it's not great. Greys turn into whites and it just looks a bit muddy at times. It's like all the colours become lighter. Very weird.
