Slow flow

The water is fine it's just the speed in which it comes out. The first system and filters I had were great. Changed the filters and it's terribly slow. I replaced the entire unit thing it was something wrong with the unit, same result. The feed water pressure did not change or have any blockage. Strange and disappointing.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Slow pour

Replaced filters and then the trouble started. Could not get the top of the first filter to stop leaking. Check O ring, it was fine. Used plumber tape, still leaked. Also could not get water to output whole filter unit.
Pros: Nice faucet
Cons: Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install, Not durable

I’ve been using Aquasana filters for years. Ever since I “upgraded” to the max flow filters I’ve had nothing but problems. Every 6 months it’s a day long struggle trying to seat the cartridges so they won’t leak and so the water will flow properly. I’m on day 2 now. The cartridges are still leaking. I have to give my back and knees a day to rest before I climb under the sink again. I will definitely be looking into a different filtration system.

The water from my Aquasana tastes wonderful!
However, I'm sad to share that the o-rings on the filter cartridges broke during my first filter change. As a result, the whole system is now leaking under my sink. I'd recommend that higher quality o-rings be provided with the filter housing.

Cons: Not durable

Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
Step 2: Remove the sump from the manifold and reconnect.
Step 3: Ensure that the connection points align correctly and turn the sump from the left to the right until it stops.
Step 4: If the sump is not locked in the correct position, it can slow the flow of your system. This process should mitigate that issue.
Step 5: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.
If further guidance is needed, we kindly ask you to contact us directly at 866-662-6885 Option 1, Monday thru Friday from 8 am-5:30 pm CST.
