We were fortunate to have a spot in the cellar for this installation. It makes changing out the filters really simple. This system easily supports the feed to the refrigerator for ice and water as well as to a small tap at the kitchen sink. We have public water with the standard chemical taste overtones. These filters make it “Poland Spring” quality.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install

Can't Imagine How Slow a non-Max Flow Would Be

We purchased replacement filters for the Claryum 3-Stage Max Flow. It now takes almost a minute for the filtered water to refill a 16 oz water bottle. There are no leaks in the system, so the only explanation is the new filters. The stream seems consistent, just extremely slow.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste
Cons: Slow pour, Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install

Step 1: Turn off the main water supply underneath the sink.
Step 2: Remove the sump from the manifold and reconnect.
Step 3: Ensure that the connection points align correctly and turn the sump from the left to the right until it stops.
Step 4: If the sump is not locked in the correct position, it can slow the flow of your system. This process should mitigate that issue.
Step 5: Once re-threaded and re-attached, test by turning the water supply back on.

The entire filter broke after changing the first set of filters. Leaked everywhere, then continued a small leak from the 3 sumps. What a pile of junk, it came pre-installed with our house but I couldn’t wait to rip out this flood liability.
Cons: Not durable

read instructions and tried to follow. however the canisters were too tight and instructions said not to use tools. had to wait 1 month until someone could help me. they followed directions to change. however now it is leaking.
i love the taste of the filtered water it’s better then our tap however it’s difficult to change

Ummm...it took a while to make it work. I had to replace all the rings and put tons (and I mean tons) of lube around the threat area so that it would stop leaking. Cause it was leaking quite a bit. Very frustrating

After installing the 3 filters, the flow rate from the faucet was very low. After looking online I found a youtube video that explained how to raise one of the filters inside the cannister, and after adding two hose washers to the bottom and re-seating the filter, it flows great. From Google sesrching it sounds like a lot of other people have had this problem, so I hope Aquasana will fix it for the future. We are happy with the filters, especially since they remove the PFAS chemicals.
