My 1st cartridge change something broke
On main body water leaking all over.
Customer support took care of me.
Sent new one i paid shipping.
Go to install could not get water to come
Out, removed reinstalled this thing for 2hrs.
Finally came up with putting water in cartridge holder pushing cartridge into top
It worked. Well next day flodded kitch.
Taking on and off messed up supply hose
Cut back all hoses reinstall no leaks
All works fine till last night.
No water coming out again.
My previous discontinued whirpool
I had for 15 years .never a problem till it wore out.
So research found aquasana easier to install, easier to change cartridges.
Will last forever since it dosnt work and you done turn it on

Best option for great tasting water in my home

I've been using my system for about 2 months. The water tastes clean, it fits nicely under in the cabinet, and I don't have go out and refill heavy bottles anymore. We drink a lot of water and this has been the best option so far. The filters last a long time and I really appreciate the 'Water for Life' program so I know when the new filters arrive, it's time to change them. Otherwise, there is no indication of when the filters need to be changed, I would have to remember myself. That would be the only drawback. Other filters I've had have an indicator light. The faucet it came with has a steady flow compared to other filters I've had. The bronze color is slightly lighter compared to my other fixtures, but I am very happy with how it looks, the function and quality of it. Would very much recommend to this product.

I've changed the filters 2 or 3 times since purchasing the Aquasana 5300. Each time the change out has been difficult and leaked after installing the new filters. I could barely loosen the cap of the sump to get to the filter. I tried not to over tighten the cap but I had to keep tightening with the blue tool provided until the leaking stopped. In other words it's difficult to tighten AND loosen. Also, each filter change was accompanied with ongoing leaks. This time it's from the prefilter... from the top of the sump, not the seam of the cap. It leaks about 1/3rd cup per day and, based on past experience, will continue to leak for weeks until it finally stops. My rating of 'fair' is based on these installation issues, not the quality of the filtered water.
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet
Cons: Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have been using Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow Filter for about 10 years. Realizing this water filtration system really works. We can tell the difference between filtered water and non-filtered. I'm staying with this under sink system.

Well, I read some bad reviews but thought I didn't have much of a choice. I think they may have been out of stock for a while to fix the problems. Once I was able to order them, replacement was super easy, I was worried due to the negative reviews. Fit great, no leaking, I did need that tool to open them though. There are only 2 of us and I am pretty sure I could have gone longer than 8 months but I wanted to check. The old ones were barely dirty. I will probably try 10 months next time.

I have used and enjoyed the Claryum 3 stage max flow for a couple years, however that changed with the last filter replacements. I changed the filter as I had in the past but this time the water would flow briefly then shutoff. Never had any issues in the past. It is now useless! I've tried the"shims" that were suggested online and still didn't resolve the issue. Highly disappointed in the new filters!
