Water is terrible where I live. Besides being 'hard', as in full of minerals, the water authority over chlorinates it. Pretty bad when the bathroom smells like a swimming pool when you flush. Before I got the Aquasana filter the dog wouldn't even drink tap water. MUCH better taste and smell, but the water is still hard. Can live with that as long as you dry everything off.
