We use water for drinking, coffee, and cooking. The tubings that came with the package were too short, had to purchase long tubing. After the second week the TDS readings went up to around 280 -300

Seems like nice filter but it was very annoying to try and install it when PEX is used. The product uses similar but different sized tubing than standard PEX product.

We have only had the three stage unit for about one month. So far we are very pleased with this unit. We installed a new sink and were unable to use our old style faucet filter,as it mounted to the faucet, and the new faucet is a flex head spray style. Not only was this unit a good solution to our new application, it has proven to be a good looking fix as well. We chose to install a higher guilty beverage faucet that is dedicated to filtered water, but the beverage faucet that comes with the unit is very nice and we would have used it had we not already purchased and installed the higher quality beverage faucet. As I said before we were unable to use the old style filter and this unit has solved or problem. The filter is easily installed and the life time filter deal made this unit very cost efficient. I do not have a negative statement to make at this time and I do not feel that I will if it keeps performing as it is at present. Thanks Aquasana, keep up the good work!

We have only used it for a week so I won't comment on the life of the filters. I will say it was easy to install and we can taste a difference in the water. It is very well made and designed. I am glad I chose to go this way for our filtered water. The convenience is outstanding. We are moving shortly and this will go with us.

I like the product. I had the same setup in another house years ago, so I purchased again. I really like the filtered water. The install was a bit tricky because of the too short input and output tubing. Not all sinks are setup the same. I did not want to install it in the back where I was forced to because of the tubing being about 2 feet too short for the input and output. Due to the time I was installing and had the disposal out at the same time, I could not go and get longer tubing, nor should I have needed to. I might move later if I can find the correct size tubing from a plumbing supplier. I know the proffit margin is on the filters and replacement filters. Tubing is cheap. Give more tubing and let customers cut off what they don't need. I know it would not add much more to the cost and it would have been very very helpful in my situation where the cold water supply is not centered under the faucet. So this made installation irritating and knowing I will need to move it later. I am not sure I would recommend again at this point.

I placed the unit under the kitchen sink to supply the refrigerator ice maker and the water in the door. The water quality and taste is terrific. The wife, an avid bottled water drinker, absolutes love the taste. The fridge is next to the coffee maker so we use the filtered water for coffee also. My coffee is almost too smooth without the nasty bite I had gotten accustomed to. I signed up for the water for life program which insures I change the filters out on regular intervals, although every 6 months will be too frequent for the two of us. At less than 2 gal per day, I would think I could go at least 8 months but I will check flow rates, taste, and quality of the water and decide when I need to change them.
