I waited to have this installed by someone who is more familiar with plumbing and he didn't have any problems except that a piece was missing. He called the company and they send a replacement within 3 business days. So far it has been working well and even though it's a bit slow coming from the faucet, it is worth it to have cleaner water!
We never drank our water before. Tired of the high cost of bottled water we invested a few dollars in the three stage dystem along with the lifelong filter replacement program. Within the short time we've had it, were close to saving the entire cost by not buying bottled water.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
WE have a salt type filtering system. But at times we can taste the salt. But now our water tastes much better. We use the salt filtering system fir the rest of the house and use Aquasana for our drinking water!!!!!
Pros: Cheap, Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install
-We use the product for drinking water and upstream of the frig ice maker. I consider this to be a very good value,a very well engineered design, and very well built. -The output flow rate is .5 gpm, just as advertised.(that being said, any suggestion on tricks to increase the flow rate a bit?) -We replaced a Culligan RO unit with your unit and are still getting used to a slightly different taste. Thinking of a filter downstream of your unit. Any comments? -Since we just started using this system, I didn't answer the questions that required longer term knowledge.
I like the filtration system. Sink lines are clean and water tastes good. Had to flush it a bit longer than instructed because water tasted alkaline. Only one complaint - the faucet drips. I thought it might stop after a few weeks, but it still drips a little (about 1/8 cup per day). Also, the decorative piece at the tip of the spout fell off. Must have gotten a lemon faucet.
