I really tried to switch from our RO system to save waste water, but unfortunately the water taste just wasn't to my liking. It made my tea taste funny and cloudy and the ice cubes were cloudy too. I think maybe we just have too hard of water for this system. I had to switch back to a new RO system and will be returning this system soon. I liked the price and the installation wasn't bad.

This unit produces the best tasting water I've experienced in a long time; however, the 45 minute installation time is a stretch for someone who exceeds the physical dimensions of a dwarf. Under sink access for a 250 lb., 6 foot man is pretty much impossible, and results in my deduction of 1 star from the a possible overall 5 star rating. I haven't had the unit installed long enough to comment on the foregoing unchecked boxes.

We had another filtration system that we stopped using a few years ago because the replacement filters were too expensive. These are very reasonably priced, they don't take up a lot of space under the sink, are very easy to install and we went with the auto ship so we don't even have to think about when it's time to replace. The water tastes great and doesn't have the funky tap water smell. We like it so much we bought it for my dad too so he could discontinue his bottled water delivery service. We also bought a couple shower filters. Very happy with all our purchases and would definitely recommend to others.

We only use our water to cook with because the quality of the water is so unacceptable. We had a counteer filter to use for our Bunn coffee pot. So we purchased this to replace the countertop pitcher. I am now using the in line filter for our dogs water also and all the build up and debris is not leftt in their water bowl We do purchase our drinking water and will continue to do so. But this water does taste much better than the plain tap water.

We had a GE under sink filter with 2 cartridges. This definitely improved the taste compared to that, but the taste is still not great (San Diego water is the worst I can recall anywhere in the world that I've lived.) We used to have a Premier RO in another house which produced really great water. We decided to try this because it requires much less space under the sink than RO units and seems to get a lot of stuff out of the water... I haven't replaced cartridges yet, but that looks pretty easy to do. The instructions are really below reasonable expectations of completeness and clarity.
