Filter is great. A couple of additions should be made to the installation directions. They should state what size hole to drill to mount the unit under the sink. And more clear directions as to installing the hose to the faucet. (yeah, that was a flood!). But it's great now and water tastes like it should!!! Like water!

We upgraded from faucet filter to undersink. It is costing us less than half for filter replacements and we don't have this monstrosity on our faucet. We love it. It was easy to install and a lot more convenient for getting water. The water quality is excellent and we signed up for Water for Life so the parts have a lifetime warranty and we don't have to remember to change filters as they come automatically.

I bought it mainly to remove the chloramine taste and smell in our water (Detroit area). It does that very well. However, it runs very slow compared to the RO unit in my previous house. That's the nature of the 2 systems though, I am told. My wife complains about a "sweet" taste. I don't experience that, but to me, it's just an odd, not natural taste. The installation was fairly easy, but i had to run the tubing from the opposite side of the sink, so i had to run out and buy longer tubing. All in all, i think it is a quality product and i would buy it again. We've only had it a couple of months so i can't speak to the longevity of the filters.
