Very easy to install I had to drill a new hole in the stainless steel sink as well. Even with the drilling this was a breeze to install I am a fairly experienced DYI guy but think anyone could do it. Beats driving to the supermarket to refill water bottles every few days.
Really good filter. Wish I had bought this years ago. Improved my water taste 1000%. Was buying 5 gal (times 4) probably twice a month plus ten 20# bags of ice each month because our water was so awful. No more!! I figure it will pay for itself in 6 months not counting all the trouble hauling water and ice. Yeah!!
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install
We had town water that was very hard and tasted awful through a Brita filter. The installation was easy, though if you don't push the tubes in hard enough it will leak. Can easily be done in an hour even by someone who has no plumbing experience. The water pours at a good rate and tastes much better. No bubbles, like some filters. We've only had it a month so far, so I don't know about its durability or how well the filters hold up. But so far we're very happy. It looks nice, the faucet is low profile but seems sturdy. Tastes good.
I have one of these filters and I have given it as a gift twice. I cannot speak to the personal opinions of the recipients but I have not received any critcal comments.
Great tasting water without wasting huge amounts of water like the reverse osmosis systems! Under the sink so it's out of the way and doesn't take up counter space. Also preserves essential minerals unlink reverse osmosis!
We use it in the kitchen for all our drinking water. Flow could be better but acceptable, about the same as water thru the fridge door.Water tases great.I looked at RO type but changed my mind when I learned how much wasted water is with them.
