Installed this for my fiance who is paculair about her water. For the average person, water taste fine, but in comparison to high PH Essentia water, does not meet the standard.
Pros: Good Water Flow, Nice faucet
Cons: Difficult to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our filters feature NSF Certified Claryum® filtration technology independently tested and proven to reduce over 97% of chlorine and chloramines. Aquasana’s Claryum® Selective filtration effectively reduces acidic compounds while preserving healthy minerals that naturally increase pH and alkalinity of water. Aquasana filters also reduce heavy metals like lead and mercury, cysts like giardia and cryptosporidium, organic chemicals like herbicides, pesticides, and VOCs, and some remove pharmaceuticals from your water. Filtered water is treated water that is then run through a filter. In our case, a special carbon filter is used to reduce the chlorine and other containments to make it safe and healthy to drink. Great product that been around for many years. This is my third filter over 20 years.....I needed to buy another filter and didn't buy aquasana and so I got a relatively expensive filter from a company that no longer sell the filter or replacements so it was a waste of money and so I came back to Aquasana. Great for, great price and easy installation. I'm not going to bother with any other company in the future again. Aquasana will still be here for my replacement filters.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Good Water Flow, Durable, Nice faucet, Easy to install
Overall, pretty happy so far. Water tastes really good, which for me means no taste at all to speak of. I don't like a strong mineral taste. Installation was very easy except for the supplied tubing being too short. I have seen a number of others with a similar complaint. They should include enough tubing to accommodate a variety of mounting locations...at least 3 ft. of each. Included faucet seems to be okay. Too early to tell if it will last very long.
Pros: Clean taste, Good Water Flow
Cons: Difficult to install
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your review! We appreciate you as a customer and your feedback.
The Aquasana filter system was recommended while researching alternatives to the Berkey. I felt confident in their testing practices and in independent reviews. The system was easy to install and has worked great so far, about 45 days. I like the filter subscription option to keep maintenance on a schedule.
After seeing the water that flowed out of the pipes following a purge of the system, we decided to buy an Aquasana. It was easy to install, easy to use, offers great tasting water, and provides peace of mind.
The installation was simple and easy-water taste great. The installation was 3/5/25 and 7/23/25 the flow stopped and the filters needed to be replaced. The unit was installed on Cape Coral Florida water utilities. The filtered water is used for drinking and occasionally boiling pasta. The literature states up to 800 gallons or 6 months ? Why did the stop up so fast?
