We've had it in for a week. The installation was easy on the Aquasana end (hard on the cabinet-door-size end, but that's neither here nor there). The water is so wonderfully delicious - you can't even taste it! The water faucet itself is lovely - one of our guests even said it reminded them of water spouts in boats. I am happy to save space on my counter (we had a portable water filter that we'd refill) - this is so much better!
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Nice faucet, Easy to install

We have used Aquasana countertop filters for some time, so I am comfortable with the degree of filtration. Also, we are now spoiled by the taste, and don't want to go back to the (overall quite good) tap water. But the outflow was slow, and the attachment mechanism ugly and inconvenient (though we were used to it). The Claryum max flow system looks much nicer, as it connects to a dedicated faucet for drinking water. It also comes out quite fast, which adds to the convenience.
We did not have much room under our sink, but I measured beforehand and it did (barely) fit. The installation instructions were ok, but Aquasana also has videos on youtube to help with installation that made it much more accessible. I'm not the most handy person, but I was able to install it without any issues.
These filters are basically made of cheap plastic, so the quality isn't amazing (we've had two countertop units break). But it works well and isn't overly expensive, so we are comfortable with Aquasana products.

I love this product. It was easy to install. The water is perfect to drink and spotless. I use it for everything we cook and clean with. Only thing that I think should be changed is the escutcheon that covers the hole in the sink to should be a little larger. It just barely covers that hole as it is. I'm a plumber by trade and it was a pain to keep centered while installing.
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Good Water Flow, Durable

You need a lot of time for installation

It's not easy for installation I have spent 3 hours for insulation and things have not solved

AO-36 Auquasana unit with tank removed and new tankless unit installed by handyman in 2 hours. Water as good as with the older more complex filter. Flow better than the old filter and a lot of under sink room gained. We are happy with our Aquasana filter system.

We have had this filter for several years. It gives us great-tasting water. And we trust that its claims for taking out a lot of different toxins are true. BUT, it is a nightmare to install the three replacement filters they send automatically every 6 months! After replacement, the water doesn't come out at all or at a dribble. I have been on the phone with Service so many times in the last few years and have kept track of all the careful tips they have provided and follow them carefully each time, but those tips only worked while I was on the phone with them for some unknown reason. They have sent various new parts over the years that didn't even work and the old ones worked better. Both my husband and I spend several hours on this week-long project whenever the replacement filters arrive.
Pros: Clean taste
Cons: Slow pour, Filters need replacing too often, Difficult to install, Not durable
