I have used Aquasana’s countertop filter for years but we finally bought our own house so I knew I had to get one for the sink. It was very easy to install. I only needed my husband’s help because my arm wasn’t long enough to reach for one part, otherwise I was able to do it myself. It is so convenient and quiet. I feel safe drinking the water knowing it has passed through Aquasana’s filters.

Great system/filters are out of specification

Water tasted great for first year of operation. Received “water for life” replacement filters,installed, and no faucet water flow. Called aquasana and spoke to Andrew. He was very courteous and friendly. Suggested I place a thin (25 cent) size spacer at bottom of first filter element. I did so to no avail. Today I removed all three filters and placed a rubber spacer (1/8”) under each filter cartridge. System now works. Apparently these Chinese made filters are out of specification and are not long enough to provide proper filter “O” ring compression to the sump. This should be addressed in the FAQ section and customer notifications about this product defect should be disseminated. Andrew is having a new stage 1 filter sent to me at no cost. I expect the same issue.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable

may flood house

Worked fine until the bottom of the filter casing burst and it flooded everything. Not drips but a spray. I discovered a 2nd cannister was beginning to fail as well.
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I followed the instructions and let the water run for ten (10) minutes and when I tested the water with a TDS meter the results were really bad not difference from the results of the tap's water.
Cons: Cloudy Water, does not clean the water

The water tastes so good!! I would avoid filling up my water bottle at home because the water was so bad. Now I can't wait to get home to have a glass of clean water! One small hiccup in the installation process: the brass tee fitting leaked so I had to buy a new one. Otherwise, once installed, the product has been working flawlessly.

The water taste much better than straight out of the tap or buying it from a convenience store. It does not have the plastic taste that is common with some bottle water. This was easy to determine. I am assuming the water quality is better. I have not tested the water. The appearance of the water is same as buying water from a convenience store.
