Installation was easy and the system seems to be working well. The water seems "slimy", probably because so much hardness has been removed, which means it is working well. One surprise was that this system is branded as "Max Flow", and that is why I had bought it, but the flow appears middling. It starts well, but immediately goes down to a thin stream.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Slow pour

Decent Product, Poor Cutomer Service

When we initially installed the filter, the water flow would stop if any other water source was used in our house or yard. Flush a toilet, turn on a hose, another sink, anything. Pretty annoying. I wrote Customer Service about the issue. They told me there was no reason the filter would do this and it had to be our plumbing. I told them more than once that we had just replaced another brand water filter with the Aquasana so that didn't make sense. How could the other filter work perfectly fine in that same spot, with the same lines, and an hour later with the new filter our house plumbing all of a sudden had an issue??? They again responded saying it wasn't their filer, it was our home's plumbing. After we couldn't take the annoyance anymore we finally sprung for a plumber to come out. The plumber found nothing that was affecting the filter. But guess what, when it was time to change the Aquasana filters, lo and behold the filter magically started working fine with the new filters. We don't believe this was a filter installation issue because my hubby is an appliance repair tech and he checked and reinstalled them. (Also successfully installed the replacements with no issue.) Pretty sure at least one of the orgiginal filters had some sore of defect / obstruction that when the water pressure dropped, the water couldn't make it through. Annoying that Customer Service dismissed all logic or reasoning I posed to them and just kept repeating it was our house's plumbing that was the issue. In the end we paid for plumber & the initial set of faulty filters because it was apparently impossible to Aquasana that their filters could have a defect. The filter itself is fine (now that it works properly) but the filter cartridges only last four months before we get the alert they need to be changed.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste
Cons: Filters need replacing too often
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am enjoying drinking water again and not worrying about PFAs contaminants. The installation did not go as well as my plumber anticipated as one of the cartridges was defective. Aquasana replaced cartridge at no charge but it made the installation frustrating. The water tastes very good. The only suggestion I would have is to make the spout larger so that the water would stream faster. I would be helpful when washing fruits and vegetables. Otherwise, I am happy with the product.

Love the water

I love the filter. Had it installed under the sink 3.5 years ago and it's still going well. I use a small water pitcher to hold my water, and refill it when it's low, that way I don't have to wait for the filter to fill my kettle.
2 days ago I also got the filter blocked and water would not flow. Called support and they said the issue is usually that one of the filters does not reach the cap properly. They have 2 solutions for this: 1. switch caps on two of the filters; 2. if 1 does not work, then put a nickel or a quarter under the filter to raise it and get it to reach the cap. For me #1 solved the issue quickly.

The water tastes great. However installation left something to be desired. Followed all directions but I couldn't get any water out of the filter. I had a different undercounter water filter so all connections were fine. The issue ended up being that the 1st stage sediment filter had to rotated only partially to get water to flow. Not overly happy with flow rate but can live with it.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Slow pour

I bought the 3 stage filter but one of the filter part was leaking water when I set it up so I contacted customer support. They respond the next day and send me a new part. It’s all good now and my drinking water is clean and clear!
