I have two of these in both my homes. Do not buy this product! Every time you change the filters it’s a different experience. And they know they have this problem. Right now my system is down to a slow “filtered” trickle. Takes over a minute to fill up my small yeti. So frustrating. I’ll be tossing both and switching to another brand as soon as I do some research.
Pros: Clean taste
Cons: Slow pour
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this system to replace an RO unit. The water quality is suitable to my wife who is the primary reason it was installed. The flow rate is good. We have opted for the 6 month filter replacement program. So far So good. Really need an additional 2' of tubing on each side for those with disposal etc.

Replaced old unit with 5300+

I replaced our existing three stage filter with the upgraded model, 5300+ tonight. Simply pulled the two hoses off and inserted them in the new unit. They don't leak either. So It Can BE Done folks.
What is upsetting to me is that the advertisement wording says use your Smartphone to track the filters. Well watch that fine print, Smartphone equals IPhone only at this point. So I will have to wait for an Android app later. For now I put a piece of tape with today's date on it and in six months I hope to hear the unit beeping at us.

Love the quality of the water we now drink and I am impress with the flow rate on this new unit. I reserve judgement on it until the filter starts to get to the end of its life.

I installed the unit about 6 weeks ago & the unit is working as advertised and there are no leaks. I would recommend that Aquasana include additional 24" of both the red & white 3/4" tubing to allow for various under-sink placement of the system's components.

I am very happy with this system. Only one thing I made a mistake with the color of the tap i should have ordered brush nickel instead of chrome and it just stands out at the kitchen sink. I don't know if there is any way to fix that.
