Since our water has a high amount of minerals, it is necessary to use a water softener. Even though the softener is set as low as possible, the water from the faucet as well as the refrigerator has a salty taste. We have been using the water filter for almost a month and are very happy!! Installation was a breeze even with additional hoses for the hot water recycling system. We have not replaced the filters yet but don't expect a problem.

I purchased this about 1 month ago. replacing an old under counter RO system. I liked this for the filter part, no RO. The filter retains the good water qualities and removes the bad water qualities. Installation was very simple, Maybe 15-20 minutes. I have the bluetooth version so the filter life is displayed on my phone app in a percentage of 0-100%. Not necessary but it's nice to see how much filter life you have. Overall very happy with this product.
