In doing research on water filters I found this unit to be the best at removing the most contaminants and not removing the important minerals. It is compact and the filter life is great at 600 gallons.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
This unit looks nice and works great. The installation is relatively straight forward. The issue is the decorative trim ring that goes above the rubber washer is very thin. When you tighten down the nut under the sink it holds, but after a few weeks of use, the metal bends more and makes the faucet become loose. I remedies this by adding a 1 1/4" flat washer between this thin trim ring and the rubber gasket. Problem solved. I would suggest to the manufacturer that you supply something as simple as this .32 cent washer or have the trim ring made of thicker metal.
Pros: Clean taste
Cons: Difficult to install, Needs 1 And 1 Fourth Wsh
I bought this because I wanted to extend the life of my coffee pot and make coffee taste as good as possible. This seems to do the trick. I haven't had to change the filters yet and I had it installed professionally, so I cannot comment on any of that. It looks nice in my kitchen!
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Long lasting filter
Bottled water taste way better... We had Osmosis water before and it tasted better... We went with this product because it was cheaper and we wanted the matching bronze water purifier to match our farm sink Fossett...the water taste good for coffee and if you mix it with powdered drinks, but it doesn't taste good plain which is disappointing... My husband took 2hrs to install and he was aware it was going to be a challenge after reading other peoples blogs... If we had to do again we would go with osmosis
Pros: Disappointed, Durable, Easy to clean, Pretty, Taste Fine When In Coffee, Taste Not Good
