This system works really well. We have a soft water and treatment system for our lake well but the water did not taste very good for drinking. We installed this system and then had our water tested and we are well within the normal limits and the water tastes good! When you subscribe Aquasana's automatic filter replacements you have a lifetime warranty. This proved to be well worth it when we had to disconnect the whole system when we remodeled our kitchen and had a slight leak on the keyhole where the drain bracket connection is when it was re-installed. They sent another one right away - no charge. And, the convenience of not having to worry when you need to replace the filters is another plus. Highly recommended for DIY. Joanne D.

The entire system has never worked properly. The water drops out so slowly it's impossible to even fill up a coffee cup without getting frustrated. Put more air pressure, they said... try a new filter, they said... Still not working right. Guess we got a lemon. By the time we moved into our house and tried all the suggestions, the warranty period had ended. Good luck with this product!!!

They say you can install yourself but I strongly recommend having a licensed plumber install your system so you don't inadvertently void your warranty or have issues passing inspection when time to sell your home.

The water comes out so slow it takes forever to fill my kettle or any other large container. After I will my pot for boiling pasta it uses all the filtered water up and I have to wait a good 45 minutes for it to refill in order to have filtered water for anything else.

The RO system is under my kitchen sink and I use it all the time for drinking and cooking. It is better than the last RO system I had because I can change the filters myself rather than having to call the Culligan man to change them for me. Also this RO system has a post filter that remineralizes the water so I no longer have to have a crock sitting on the counter and buy and add mineral drops to the water before I can use it for drinking.
