The new filter works great and water flow is good. My complaint is that the instructions were missing a critical step. I had to turn to You Tube and search many videos on installation to discover what to do. The missing step was the removal of the elbow on the bottom of the old filter, and using it on the new filter. Fortunately I got the elbow out and moved to the new filter. It would have been quicker and easier with instructions!
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install

I replaced existing RO filter cartridge. Instructions did NOT work, but fortunately I found instructions in a user’s critical review that worked — otherwise I would have broken the tube connection. Filter is good.
Pros: Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Good Water Flow, Durable, Nice faucet

Having well water destins you for reverse osmosis or something similar. Our water is filtered at the inlet of the house. Having that plus the RO system equates to excellent water. Can’t go wrong with the RO.

Installed in 2017, installation was fairly easy, instructions weren't clear/detailed enough in some areas. Had a leak coming from the faucet connection and a replacement was promptly sent. Filter replacements are quick and easy, again instructions weren't quite clear enough but eventually figured it out. The water taste great, have had visitors say that it was the best water they had tasted. Great peace of mind knowing I no longer have to drink fluoride tainted water not to mention all those contaminants.

Horrible Instructions to replace!!!

Hey Aquasana, Update Your Instructions!!! Replacement Instructions are wrong! Was written by someone that doesn't know what they're talking about. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Tells to disconnect red hose from drain port & to remove & discard the flow restrictor! DON'T DO THIS! YOU NEED TO REUSE BOTH THE FLOW RESTRICTOR and THE WHITE ELBOW CONNECTOR. DO THIS: Remove the cartridge from the sump with the red hose remaining attached. THEN remove the white elbow with the red hose still attached from the old cartridge by pressing in the red ring on the old cartridge (where the elbow is connected) until it's flush/flat & the elbow is released. Now you have them to reuse & get your replacement cartridge installed.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste
Cons: Slow pour, Filters need replacing too often
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used an Aquasana filter in the past to remove chlorine and other impurities but I have become very concerned about the effects of Fluoride on our cognitive abilities. This filter takes 95% of Fluoride out. I'm also adding a 2nd mineralization cartridge
