I bought this to replace a faucet mount filter because the filters for it kept going to in price and needed to be replaced 6x a year where as three only need replaced 2x a year. Also like that I don't have a filter hanging on my faucet like before.

I have a science background, so for me, it is fun and cerebral to test out something like this. Once I installed it, I did one simple thing to start - wash my hands. Regular water? Hands washed easily, no residue. Claryum filtered water? It took more time and effort to clear the soap (same soap). I knew at the minimum that the minerals were filtered out. Then after the taste tests, I was confident that this product does what it says. It could only be better if it was also an RO system. The water flow definitely slows down, so be patient when trying to fill up a bottle or make coffee

These are nice filters to filter your water. Our water is pretty good, but this gives us more comfort to know there is a little extra filtration done.

Can be troublesome

Changing the filter is always problematic. I have had it for over a year now. I have had to change the filters twice and both times there have been issues, for example the water drips out instead of flowing out normally. This can be very frustrating and not user friendly.
Pros: Easy to clean, Clean taste
Cons: Slow pour, Difficult to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
