I live in a rural, isolated area that is seeing an increase in oil and gas drilling. Our water is naturally super hard, with a lot of iron oxide. I don't want to absorb some of what's in the water. I actually bought this for my son. He lives in a town that has well water. He would complain that his hair and skin felt dingy and dirty after he showered. I decided I was going to get him a water filter and a shower filter. He absolutely loves both of them. What a difference it makes, his skin and hair feel so good now, he let his roommate shower in his bathroom he loved it too and will probably be getting the shower filter. Thank you for making such wonderful products.

Was expecting after taste--i live in a city close to chicago-and we receive our water from lake michigan--the water leaves such a bad after taste--but when i installed the new filter-i was pleasantly suprised at the smooth taste of the water-i have been a Fiji drinker for years-but have found a very worthy replacement in Aquasana--i just wish that they could devise a system that would increase the ph balance--but for now--im a true believer in Aquasana...
