I did not have to have tools to install this filter system as I did with one that this filter replaces. I like the fact that all I have to do to turn the filter off is shut tap off and that is it!

Love this it filters out all the chlorine taste, didn't realize how good it was working until I took a drink without using the filter and you could smell all the chlorine in the cup. Also, simple to set up no leaking and had for about a month and no change in pressure flow. Would highly recommend, haven't changed filters yet so hoping it's as easy as the set up.
