I am in love with my filter. The water tasted funny at first- like I could taste the filter, but Aquasana sent me new filters and with those the taste went away after a few uses. I drink so much more water now because I trust it- no more chlorine smell!! I also really like how compact it is. I was worried about my options as a renter of a very small studio apartment in New York. This is perfect- it takes so little counter space. I only wish the tubes were a little longer so that the unit doesn't have to be so close to the faucet- it would give me more options of where to place the unit.
Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Impact Resistant, Retains Temperature, Slim Design, Small, Unique Design
Cons: Short Hoses

We use the Aquasana filter on our kitchen sink for drinking water. Much more convenient than a pitcher filter. However, our main concern is great tasting water and we still do not like the taste of the water after it has been filtered so we are a little disappointed.
Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Slim Design
Cons: Leaves Aftertaste

I have not had the unit that long; so, I don't know what next month will bring, but for now, I am very pleased with the unit. The tap water being filtered through the unit is as good,or better, than the water we were buying in jugs at the office. My only complaint, and it isn't a major complaint, is that the water stream is not as strong as the water stream from the water dispenser we were renting, and that rental unit did not produce a significant water steam compared to water from a sink faucet. The difference between the rental unit and this one is not significant, but I can see where someone that goes from running tap water to this water filter may think it takes forever to fill a glass. I'm just hoping it continues to operate satisfactorily as many of the reviews have me concerned. I did opt for the lifetime protection/guarantee - forget what it's called. Based on the reviews, I feel I am covered should the filter stop working. Plus, it is a good value and insures the equipment will be fixed/replaced as long as you stay with the program, should something go wrong with the water filter equipment. Based on the price of other water filters/purifiers out there, this is an excellent value.
Pros: Unit Works Well, Was Easy To Assemble, Water tastes great
Cons: Water Stream Is Low
