The taste and quality of the water from my Aquasana filter is not only a noticeable improvement over what comes out of my tap and distinctly superior to the other filtration systems and bottled waters, particularly those that come in plastic, which invariably have somewhat of a chemical aftertaste.

Taste of water has improved. No chlorine like smell. Have not done independent checking of the water quality, but are hoping that the California State certifications and independent lab test findings are correct and the filters are reducing the chemicals and pharmaceuticals from the water.
