We bought our house with an Aquasana Filter already installed in the kitchen sink, and at first we weren't sure if we wanted to keep buying filters for it. But, I'm glad we gave it a shot! The water from the tap is perfectly safe to drink, but I just don't like the taste of it and was wasting a lot of plastic buying bottled water instead. These filters make the water taste much better, and I'm sure I'm more hydrated as a result! The only con I have against them is how hard they are to install - to form a tight pressure for pumping the water, I guess, a semi-vacuum is created inside the chamber that really pulls everything very tightly together. It's so hard to twist open and put the new filter in! I definitely can't do it alone and need someone to come help me twice a year to install.

Cons: Difficult to install
