Have used this 2-stage system for 6 years now. Our water tastes great and I believe that it's taking all the bad stuff out too. Our doggie doesn't get UTIs any longer so I assume that the chlorine is being filtered out. We seem to be in pretty good health as well. They are Easy to replace and worth the money every 6 months for us. There are only 2 in our household so we replace them every 6 months instead of every 4.

Excellent product and works well. Our only concern is that the tap is hard to keep firmly bolted to the sink. It loosens easily as time goes on in its use. It is hard to tighten so it doesn't keep moving.

I subscribe to the semi-annual filter replacement program, and as a part of that, I was offered an upgrade on the under-the-counter setup. This filter, the new and improved version, delivers the same good tasting water and has the advantage of being considerably easier to change to filters. I opt to leave the battery out, as i don't need the reminder or the annoying beep. Only minus - the flow rate is a little slow.

I've been a Water for Life member for almost 10 years and can't imagine EVER changing to another company or system!! The filters arrive every six months, the cost remains the same (waaay cheaper and better for the environment than buying water), and especially with the newer models, the process for changing the filters is super easy! I LOVE Aquasana and the Water for Life program!

The design has much improved over the years, so it's a lot easier to install. No more wrenches and water squirting everywhere! Taste is nice and clean, though we also run it through a Brita pitcher because there's so much chlorine, etc. in LA water. Customer service has always been good with free replacement parts. My only grumble is the price of replacement cartridges (same as with ink printers); could be a nicer rater for loyal long-term customers.
