WE use the filter in the kitchen to filter our drinking water, and the water we use for coffee. It got rid of that chlorine taste and smell. YOu only need to change the filters twice a year, and looking at the used filter tells you a lot about the other things you will like. It is difficult to change the filters because they are under sink on the back wall. Getting in there and working, especially to get the filters on is a challange.
