It provides our drinking and cooking water. It replaced a broken reverse osmosis system which we had used for many years. However, we obtained information via the internet and from local plumbers about R/O water not having mineral content that is essential for our health. A friend /physician showed us his Aquasana System and we gave it a try.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
We use our system for drinking water, making coffee, tea, filling the dog water bowl and watering the house plants. This is a very clean tasting water right to the end of the filter life. The flow rate on this newer faucet model is much faster than the original. The new Faucet shuts off completely with no dripping. We are very satisfied with the filters ease of switching out and we also suggest their shower filters as well. The filtered shower water gives me the best results with styling my hair. No more chlorinated hard tap water for us.

Drinking water at kitchen sink. We love the taste and so do guests we serve Aquasana water to. The flow rate is a little slow, indicating that maybe the filters need to be increased in size a little to get more through-put rate.

I use the filter system in my kitchen. Water is noticeably better. I like having the separate spout. The pressure isn't great but it's not that inconvenient for me. Replacing the filters under the sink can be a pain because in order to keep it out of the way I had to put it against the back wall. I have and will continue to recommend the Acquasana filters to others.
