I recenting moved into my just purchased home in a new area in which is serviced by puble water. I originally thought that I had hard water. I started noticing a residue left in the dogs water bowl. My daughter was getting acne when she never had it before. I started my investigation of house water filters and found Aquasana. My water is now soft, no residue in dogs water bowl, tastes so much better and my daugthers acne has gone away. My only issue is that I need to call a plumber in every 6 months to change the filters. Otherwise totally happy with my purchase
Some grains of charcoal tend to miss the filter if you don't flush a long time. I would like to see one that can adapt to my bar sink type faucet the way Pure can I don't think the taste is as pure as I think it should be
Cons: Hard To Clean, Uses Lots of Replacement Filters
I installed the device to replace an existing, older Aquasana model. This unit filters well and replacing the filters every 6 months (automated filter delivery as a reminder) is a breeze.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
I use this on my kitchen sink. I'm renting, but my landlord initially installed it for me. I've replaced the cartridges a handful of times since then, and it's easy-peasy. Definitely wouldn't consider myself to know how to do home improvement things, but even I can do this. I feel much better about drinking water from the tap now. If you're on the fence about trying this, just do it.
Pros: Easy to install, Long lasting filter, Removes Chlorine Taste
I use the filter for all of my drinking and cooking water needs. These filters have outstanding contaminant removal. The flow rate is not as fast as I would like, but it is comparable to other filters.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
