We're a busy house of 8 and we drink plenty of water, more since I got my water filter. This system is a nice upgrade from the previous model, the filters are easier to change, the water is clean and tastes great - like water! The machine beeps when you need to change the filter, which happened about a week or 2 before my 6 months were up. I called and they said they were getting ready to ship my replacement filters anyway, so I guess it really does last as long as its supposed to. The water with this system tastes way better than bottled water. changing the filters is easier than the old model too, give it a good solid turn and they do come out, opening the containers is a bit hard but still easier than the old system which i bought a wrench for. Only downside is you have to really run the water with the new filter in for a good long time to clear the new filter as it may stay cloudy for a while if you don't.
