The 2 filters work well for about 2 months, then the water slows to a trickle. This is unacceptable, especially when you consider there are only the 2 of us. We thought the filters would last about 6 months before the water slowed to a trickle, but not the case. It got so bad, my wife insisted we buy a Brita water pitcher, which works well, but may not be the same purification. All in all the Brita is what we use now, because we just can't deal with having to replace filters every couple of months, which also is way to expensive. I am so sorry we changed to the AQ 5200R, since the other type worked well, and lasted for about 6 months. We just can't afford to continue using your filters.

There is little water in central Texas and it is full of salt and added chemicals, so I filter the water through a dual filter and use shower filters to keep my hear clean and shiny!

After a lot of research I started with the counter top model. Immediately saw the difference. Later I upgraded to the faucet with under the counter filters. I wouldn't trade Aquasana for any other filter. Water pressure is stronger with the faucet under the counter filters. I use it for drinking, cooking, coffee, tea, etc., anything that I am going to consume. Just for convenience I keep several gallon jugs already filled especially for cooking. Before Aquasana I would get mold looking stuff inside my tea jug. Not anymore!! That told me for sure Aquasana was working. I have found nothing that I dislike about it. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a water filter. Aquasana is the BEST!!
