Now I feel safer, the taste of chlorine is gone! I bottle about 2 gallons which are kept refrigerated for use in drinks. Use for any recipe calling for water, food such as soup appear to taste better using the filtered water.

This upgrade was a disappointment. It is significantly slower to pour then my old one. The ease of cartridge replacement is not worth the slower pour.

I have to have pure water....I check to see if there are any residues floating in the water. There is not. Even when the alarm goes off to tell me it's time to change filters. I get new filters every six months and that's when the alarm goes off. I have just one situation. There is a little peble where the water comes out. I have tried to get rid of it, but to no avail...It still sends the water out into my glass, but it spritzes.

I have no quarrel with the quality of the water that comes out of the filter. However I have great difficulty (and always have had) with replacing cartridges and getting the thing to work afterwards. The newest model is an improvement, but this time after installing the cartridges NO water comes through the system. Obviously something is wrong and I"m trying to trouble-shoot it myself, one hose at a time. But it is irksome and often seems hardly worth the effort to go through this every 6 months. I'm looking for something different.
