I really like this unit better than the counter top model it replaced. Both provided cleaner, better tasting water, but the under counter model is an all around better unit. I like not having anything extra on the counter. I like the separate water faucet. The filters are much easier to change and the unit doesn't leak like the counter top model often did when I changed filters.

I have an undersink mount filtration system in the kitchen and use it for drinking and cooking. I recently upgraded to the new filters and found it very difficult to open the canisters to remove and replace the filters. It required assistance from my neighbor and his tool bench! I love the filtered water though, since my water is very chlorinated, so it is worth it, and I hope next time I can figure out how to open the canisters myself.
