I wrote that this is easy to install. After the first time replacing the filters, it was easy. That first time required quite a bit of effort. I am still not sure I got the battery in correctly, but it works and beeps after 6 months to remind me to change it. I did not mount the filters under the sink, but rather placed them in a plastic tub for ease of access. I dislike working under the sink. So, it is not the space-saver for me that it could be. The water tastes great. I can really tell a difference in the filtered and the tap.
