I drink five to six 16oz glasses of water each day. Given the quality of the filtered water, it's hard for me to believe I ever drank water straight from an unfiltered tap, and we have darn good unfiltered tap water too. Once you try the filtered water, I doubt you will go back!

We've replaced these filters probably 6 times now and I've found it to be easily done if you have fairly good hand strength to separate the top from the bottom of each filter housing. I do not know of a way to redesign the filter housing to make this an easier task but someone who is either somewhat frail, arthritic or otherwise hand strength-challenged would have a hard time undoing the canisters.
