This is the 11th or 12th unit we have purchased since 2007. We always keep a spare on hand so we are never without having good filtered water. The units tend to leak after a few months & become unusable. But until then, we love the way the water tastes.
I purchased the over the counter dispenser for my daughter college dorm. It leaks constantly. Can’t understand why. I checked everything. Researched troubleshooting and it seems fine but still leaking. We returned the unit and are hoping to get a new one without the issue
I will be calling. AGAIN for troubleshooting of my second Aquasauna. The first I was sent did not have a working motor. This second one I received 3 days ago will not filter. I can get no water out. It is getting ridiculous.
Problems noted include: it is difficult to remove the pitcher from the base, especially when it is full of water. Numerous people expressed frustration with how difficult it is to pull the pitcher out of its housing. And it is basically impossible to do with just one hand or, if the pitcher is full, without spilling water.
Furthermore, my pitcher had some discoloration on the white plastic housing. It looked like it had been exposed to light and, as a result, had yellowed in some places.
For all products for which the filter needs frequent replacement, it would be better to have an indicator letting customers know when such a replacement is required.
I purchased both a countertop reservoir with a dispenser as well as a countertop model that connects to my kitchen faucet. I love both! Installation was a breeze and I was absolutely floored at the sheer taste difference between the Aquasana-filtered water and our previous Brita-filtered water...unbelievable! I'm extremely pleased with both filters!!
Pros: Easy to clean, Clean taste, Good Water Flow, Easy to install
