Worked great right up until the warranty date

the filter worked pretty good literally 365 + like 5 days from when we purchased it so it is just out of the warranty window of course. I mean it does leak no matter what you do but we have a stone counter top so that didn't bother us.
It literally just decided to stop working at all. It's really annoying that of course it does this right outside the warranty window like they only make their products to last for just that long.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How can someone charge so much for some thing so cheaply built with no engineering or thought process put in. 1st it likes to leak impossible to put the water tank in since there is no locking mechanism and the plunger only seals from the weight of the water. The pump is so loud you think you are running a well pump at a mine. Finally through a hole should be shot. Even a six year old can design something better.

The company is helpful, but the machine is quirky

The filter makes our town water taste much better and, I ‘m told, removes PFAS which we recently were informed were above permitted levels in our town-supplied water.
BUT, the filter is very difficult to initially install and change; we had to add salt to our water to get the sensor to activate the machine. We have since gotten liquid trace minerals which will activate the sensor without added sodium. When you fiddle with the filter be sure to use a toothpick to push “reset”. Sometimes the machine will not turn off. Sometimes the machine will not turn on because I haven’t added enough drops of trace minerals.
The Aquasana counter model provides good tasting purified water, is reasonably priced, but is difficult to operate. This is the only filter I have ever used, so cannot compare it to other brands which may be even more finicky to operate. Aquasana support people are patient and well informed.

This thing is incredibly loud. The motor used to pump the water through produces a very obnoxious and extremely loud (hard to talk over it) sound. Everyone in my family dreads having to use it. In addition, after you release the button to get your water, it keeps flowing for about 5 seconds. That may sounds like a nit pick but even after a month of using it the muscle memory doesn't kick in and we have to constantly wipe the floor. It's just not intuitive, the flow of water should stop when you release the button. I am disappointed because we love the other products we have purchases from this brand, and the filtration quality is great, but a kitchen appliance should be pleasant to use, not a loud, messy thing no one wants to touch.

Water does taste better per family opinion. Even the pets drink it without any upset. Resetting the pitcher is still a work in progress and need to keep a towel for leaks.

I have been using the system for several years. Have always been very pleased and happy. But, just got a new unit and it came with only the Dispenser with Lid. After I put in and went though the system, put in the fridge and it does not taste as good as before and the water is not cold. I am not pleased at all this dispenser.
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Long lasting filter, Good Water Flow, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable

I’m disappointed in this product. The design defies reason. Having the gasket on the bottom without any real ability to have the container click into place means constant leaking. It’s also extraordinarily loud—almost louder than our espresso machine. I do feel safe in knowing that PFOAs are being filtered out, and that’s the number one concern for me. So I guess I’ll keep cleaning up the leaks.
