This is the second Aquasana product I have bought with the 'Water for life' program.
I was very satisfied with the performance of the first one, which was a three-stage, under-counter model.
The Clean Water Machine is not as nice.
The reason for this is the pump is very noisy. The vibration of the pump is not well damped. These two facts belie their slogan concerning 'obsessive engineering'.
Other than that, the water that is filtered through it tastes better and makes a better cup of tea than the tap water in my apartment building.
Although the pump is too noisy, it is a great convenience to have a pitcher of water filtered in less than 60 seconds.
The pitcher itself is well balanced.
A good product I think. But if it were possible to plumb-in the under-counter model in my apartment, I would have bought that model.

The difference between water from our Brita pitcher and water from our Aquasana Dispenser is like night and day!! We pulled the guts out of the Brita pitcher, threw them in the trash and now use the pitcher to fill our dispenser. It's nice to be confidently drinking clean water!
