Totally excited about every aspect of filtration!!!!
Pros: Best Filtration, Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter, Love The Taste, Simpler Filtration, Very Smooth Taste
We purchased the mobile countertop water filter as our water is horrible in every way. We did not want to invest in an installed system as we are looking to move soon. So this was a good alternative. The jug is durable, easy to clean, and the base is solid so you don't feel like it's going to fall over. The jug fills quickly so you aren't waiting long for a new jug of water. On the contrary, it is fairly loud but seeing as it's fast, it's not a huge deal. Overall, we are very happy with the system and I would recommend it for anyone who needs a filtered system but don't want, or need, an installed style. This is being used for three adults and one child so it's great for a variety of sized households. We use it for some of our cooking and rinsing water for fruit and vegetables on top of drinking water. Thank you very much.
Pros: Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install
I'd give the system 5 stars thus far, but I gave 3 because the website was not very clear that getting the pitcher filter would not allow use of the reservoir. Found out with the paperwork in the box that they are 2 different models and not compatible otherwise I would have ordered the pitcher/tap reservoir option.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Long lasting filter
I use this daily. I used to just drink water from the faucet, but it wasn't very cold (I like water ice cold), also seeing the lime deposits that would build up around faucets & toilet I didn't feel it was the cleanest. water bottles were a pain, plus didn't want all the empties in the garbage ( we don't have recycling). consequently I only really had 1 glass of water a day. We're supposed to drink more than that for health, so decided i wanted to something different. I tried one of the drip filter pitcher. I hated the fact that I would have to put water in the fill cup, then wait forever for it to drip through the filter. Then have to do the same fill & wait process a couple of times before getting a full pitcher of water. I eventually just threw the thing away. I saw the adds for this system & some of the cons about noise & water drips. I'm glad I decided to go ahead & try. The noise wasn't what I would call loud (could still hear tv from other room)The fill cup also holds enough water to fill the entire pitcher. So for 1 & 1/2 min. of "noise?" I had a full pitcher of water instead of the 30 min fill, wait, fill of the drip methods. as for the water drips, I have a piece of folded paper towel that I just set under the spout. I don't always get drips. I think maybe it's just air pressure equalizing when drips do occur. I got a 2nd pitcher, so now I always have 2 pitchers in the fridge. When I finish the 1st pitcher I spend a min. & half making a new filtered pitcher which I put in the fridge to get cold while I still have a full cold one. so now I tend to drink 2 pitchers of water a day instead of just 1 glass. I Also now know what water should taste like.
We had an in-line filter that had no impact; our water was terrible tasting. The water with the Aquasana is delicious. It filters fast and coffee is delicious with this filter system. I do recommend buying another pitcher to keep in the fridge.
