I first asked a representative if the powered filter system was BPA free and she only told me that they were told it was during their training seminars, but I couldn't find where it says the system is BPA free anywhere online. I had to google other reviews to find people saying that it was BPA free. I wish Aquasana would notify people somehow that it is in fact BPA free. Also, the first few weeks, I got tiny black particles in the water, which were carbon pieces and harmless, but it made me question the filtration system. After talking to a service representative, he informed me to clean out the chamber itself and rinse the filter a couple times. After that, the particles didn't appear in the filtered water.
Pros: BPA Free, Clean taste, Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Fast Filtration
Cons: Carbon Particles In Water, Uses Lots of Replacement Filters

I do love the product. I only wish their wasn't bubbles in the water. I know it doesn't affect the water but it doesn't look clear. The water tastes great. I also like that the filters last a long time. I would reccommend to friends. I am glad I bought two pitchers.

The water from this unit is used for everything to cooking to the water in our dogs bowls. It's great tasting and lasts longer than the other store bought brand! Dogs breath stunk so badly with just tap water till we started using this now we don't mind getting kisses! Lol my kids are also drinking more! (Always a plus!) It is really loud but it only lasts for a minute and for how fast it filters the sound doesn't bother anyone.
