Thank you for your feedback! We are delighted you are enjoying your Clean Water System in your RV. It makes drinking water so much easier on the move! We look forward to assisting you in the future should you need any assistance!
We love our new Aquasana pitcher. It's larger in the jug than our old counter top pitcher but takes up the same amount of counter space. Before, we had to add flavors to the old pitcher water, but not with this - the water is sweet and cold. Even our kiddo drinks it whereas before he preferred seltzer! And we love the auto shipment of the filters. Don't even have to think about it and they arrive on time!

My entire family and some friends use the under-sink unit and/or the attachment to the faucet so I enjoy the water quality. This product, however, leaks everywhere (as many of the reviews stated). It's also very misleading as it is advertised as it shows 'ONE GALLON' on the product description and then mentions it's only a half gallon for the pitcher option. The water tastes great, but the quality of the product doesn't meet its price, which includes buying expensive replacement filters in future months.
Needed a water purifying system when I relocated to NYC for half a year for work. Was looking for something that effectively purifies but is also affordable and requires zero installation, that can be easily shipped home (to LA) once my job completes. This machine was great for the first month or normal use. Provided clean water with noticeably better taste and smell. I typically refill it around 3-4x a day and use for drinking water, coffee and light cooking. In the past week it has started leaking badly from the bottom rear. I thought maybe the filter needed to be replaced, but I have only used (greatly overestimating) about 80-90 gallons, which is less than a third of the filter’s life. Do not buy this unless you want to deal with leaks. This is a known issue with this machine, based on other reviews - Aquasana really needs to resolve this. So disappointing! The Clean Water Machine was otherwise exactly what I wanted. (Have reached out to customer support - Will happily revise this review if it can get resolved.) In the meantime, I’ve taken a cue from other reviews and placed both a towel and baking sheet under the machine to minimize clean up - ruins the machine’s otherwise small counter footprint.
Filters water just fine (I've not tested the water). Water tastes better. Leaks from the bottom and back every time you use it after only using it for about 10 days. 10 days is also coincidentally the length of time I emailed Aquasana about this issue and have yet to hear any response. Hopefully they will respond to this and try to resolve my issue with their product and I can update this review.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need to fix the constant leaks

Aquasana design the machine so that it has to be air tight to keep the vacuum to keep the water from leaking. It's so sensitive that maybe 1 out or 4 machine are not leaking and even then by the time you change the filter it leaks. I wish I can install an under sink filter so that I do not have to deal with this machine.
OK so first to its credit, the water tastes great. We just moved to an area that has a ridiculously high chlorine level in the public water, so bad it smells like a public pool when you first turn on the faucet. The Aquasana works beautifully for providing fresh tasting water with minimal ppm. But the device itself is a disaster! It has always been a bit of a trick removing the pitcher from the base, but that I can get over. The main problem now is that when the pitcher is placed on the base the filter turns on and never stops. It just keeps making that awful noise (another downside to the device is that it is very loud when filtering the water). I think this is happening because it isn't fully emptying the filtered water back into the filter; some of it remains in the base. Which also means that any time the thing gets jiggled water leaks out of the base all over the counter. This started happening less than 2 weeks after we got it.
